      I have many mothers, many that I call mothers.
      I cannot tell who to bow to, so I bow a little to eatch.

      Many wonderful female runosingers lived and sang in Viena Karelia, among them Anni Tenisova, Anni Lehtonen, Arhippa Perttunen’s sister Moarie and Okahvie Remsujeff. They were the story tellers and myth carriers of their time, It is our turn now to thank these late singers and carry their stories on. Instead of male heroes, four different women play the lead in these runo-song.
