FINNISH-SWEDISH FLUTE ENSEMBLE TUULTENPESÄ RELEASES THEIR DEBUT ALBUM VINDSTILLA
In Tuultenpesä’s music, you can hear an array of historical and contemporary flutes, recorders and whistles, joined in from time to time by vocals. The repertoire is based on the Nordic and Finno-Ugric folk music traditions, improvisations and new compositions. Meditatively floating, rocking and breathing, or transiently pulsating and swirling, their music invites to enjoy the colorful timbres and moods dozens of flutes can offer.

Thank you, kiitos, tack!
To all our flute makers and especially the makers of our inspiring, special wooden flutes: Gunnar Stenmark, Pentti Mäkelä and Max Brumberg. Without flutes there would be no flute music.
